I am Dolf Lategan, a Dorper Sheep Breeder from Wesselshof, South Africa.

The Dorper, a true South African Breed, has caputered my imagination for the past 26 years whereoff 11 years was experienced extensively. My present extensive farm is situated in the Southern Free State close to the town Smithfield.

The Breed yields many dividends besides being an ideal sheep for business. It is a pleasure to work with the Dorper, and when you experience the excitement of a National Show where every animal is trimmed to perfection and where there are literally hundreds of prime, stud quality sheep, it is not hard to fall in love with this industry.
